とにかく今夜アトランタに到着しました!明日から7週間の訓練に入ります。
緊張と興奮でいっぱいです。それに離れたばかりなのにボストンのことを必要以上に寂しがってます。

Anyway, Hello Hotlanta!
After spending days out at pubs, playing disc golf and eating out at classy establishments such as Ikea, occupying myself with things with entirely nothing to do with getting ready, I am here.
I somehow managed to pack a 60 lb suitcase regardless of all the dress code restrictions, and then yet more shockingly succeeded in moving that suitcase about airports while wearing heels, to my final destination.
On the plane I was seated right in the middle of about five flight attendants dead heading out to somewhere, and made the grave mistake of telling them I was going to Atlanta for training. Which would have been fine, until it was discovered that my carry on was too big. I was that person.
And then when I smashed my head on the overhead bin the first time. And the second time, at which point I exclaimed "JESUS". And then the third time I just resigned myself to the fact that the entire cabin probably looked up in anticipation every time I shifted in my seat.
They all watched on, surely anticipating the day that they will be lucky enough to fly with this hot mess.
On that note, keep your feet well out of the aisles, order hot drinks from someone else.

I've settled into my new hotel home, and met my room mate, Mina. I'm trying to go through a mental check list of all my bad habits, so I can try to curb them to the best of my ability for the next seven weeks. This might be a good opportunity for me to remember how to "behave" again.

So wish me luck tomorrow, god knows I'll need it. I just need one of those random days where I don't injure, make a fool out-of, accidentaly-curse-infront-of-important-people, or burn a hole in my suit-or-hand with a cigarette-type of day. That would be ideal.

And the pictures, sorry they are an absolute mashup. Goodbye party, golfbee, and my new room. I'm too lazy to make multiple posts right now. And oh, that Lionel Richie poster...surfaced outside of the cafe at random on the day of my party. And gave me just one more reason to absolutely adore that big-ass-tiny town.
