I've been wanting to show this one off for a few whiles. Found this dress at Salvation Army last year, and couldn't quite decide whether it reminded me of vintage military or vintage girlscouts...I'm leaning toward girlscouts but still a bit on the fence.
It's a bit big for me, but works well with the tie around the waist. I love the contrast of the red and the little breast pockets, but the #1 selling point for me would be the pleated sleeves and back. Oh, also it has hand pockets...I love me a dress with pockets.
Worn with red vintage hat found at small vintage store in Bridgewater Center. Why did we ever decide to stop wearing hats like this?
Also goes well with red heels. (What doesn't?)
